How are resources chosen for the website?

Resources chosen for our database are carefully considered by our staff.  Many resources are created by Library Teacher Tools and others are selected from publishers, authors, and other reputable sources.  When selecting outside lesson plans and other materials, we consider those that will most benefit the library environment.  For example, there are tons of lesson plans and other materials available on the web; however, not all will work best in the library classroom.  We consider the normal time frame that librarians work with when seeing students and also which resources will provide the best support to teach students library skills, foster a love of literature, and make a connection with the regular classroom curriculum.
